Auto-apply tool questions, answered (2026)

The short version: LazyApply has the lowest published price per application, LoopCV and Simplify have the most useful free plans, Simplify and JobCopilot name the most company career-site systems, and Dreamwork (our publisher) fits tailored applications to tech roles. Answers below come from each tool's own site, read on November 8, 2026.

What is the best auto-apply tool?

It depends on where you apply. For LinkedIn Easy Apply and job boards, LoopCV (free plan, review option) and LazyApply (lowest published price, hands-off) fit best. For company career sites with one resume, Simplify's free Copilot fills Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby forms for you to submit. For tailored applications to tech roles on company career sites, Dreamwork fits. Outside tech, JobCopilot applies only on company career pages and tailors on its Elite plan.

Which auto-apply tool is cheapest per application?

LazyApply, on published prices. Its Basic plan is $99 a year for 15 applications a day, about 2 cents each if you use all of them. At 50 applications a month on the cheapest covering plan, the published prices work out to: LazyApply $0.17, Simplify $0.60, Dreamwork $0.66, AIApply $0.98.

Which auto-apply tools work with LinkedIn Easy Apply?

LoopCV names LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and 30+ job boards. LazyApply mentions LinkedIn only on a blog page; its home page names Indeed, Dice, ZipRecruiter, and Greenhouse. A Jobright blog post says its extension fills applications on LinkedIn. JobCopilot says LinkedIn and Indeed are not sites it applies on.

Which auto-apply tools work on Workday, Greenhouse, and Lever?

Simplify names Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, iCIMS, and Taleo. JobCopilot lists 54 included systems such as Greenhouse and Lever, plus Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, SuccessFactors, and Oracle at 1 credit each. LazyApply names Greenhouse. Dreamwork submits to the employer's application system for roles it finds on company career sites, and hands you the application to send when a site does not support automatic submit.

Can I review each application before an auto-apply tool sends it?

Yes, with several. Simplify's free Copilot and Jobright's extension fill the form and leave submit to you. AIApply has a Review mode, JobCopilot can save applications for review, LoopCV has One-Click Apply, and Dreamwork has a Review first option. Simplify+ Autopilot has no review step, and Massive's terms say a review period is not guaranteed.

Which auto-apply tools tailor my resume for each job?

Dreamwork writes a tailored resume, cover letter, and answers for each role. Massive writes a custom resume and cover letter for each job. Simplify+ and Jobright can tailor the resume. JobCopilot tailors on Elite only. AIApply sells a tailored resume and a tailored cover letter as $12-a-month add-ons. LoopCV sends your one saved CV, and LazyApply does not say it tailors.

Is there a free auto-apply tool?

LoopCV has a free-forever plan that auto-applies on job boards; its cap is not published. Simplify's free Copilot fills forms on company career sites, and you press submit. Dreamwork's free plan writes a tailored resume and cover letter for 5 jobs a day, which you send yourself. AIApply has a limited free tier with unpublished limits.

How do you calculate cost per application?

We turn each published price into a monthly cost (annual divided by 12, quarterly by 3, weekly times 52/12) and each limit into applications a month (daily times 30). List price per application is the monthly cost divided by the monthly limit. The calculator instead divides by the number you will actually send, on the cheapest plan that covers it.

Why are JobCopilot, Jobright, Massive, and LoopCV not in the calculator?

Their own sites do not publish a billed price and an application limit together. We rechecked all four on November 8, 2026. JobCopilot shows a per-day 'from' price ($0.93 Premium, $1.05 Elite) and a limit in job matches, not a billed amount. Jobright's pricing page returned a 404 error. Massive publishes a limit of 200 jobs a month but no price. LoopCV says plans start from €9.99 a month but publishes no quota. We do not fill gaps with guesses or third-party listings.

What happened to BulkApply?

Its domains did not resolve when we checked on November 8, 2026, so we could not read its pricing or documentation. We do not use third-party listings for prices.

Did you test these auto-apply tools?

No. We read each tool's pricing page, help center, and terms on November 8, 2026 and report what they say. We did not sign up, submit applications, survey users, or measure interview rates.

Who publishes Unit Price?

Dreamwork (dreamworkhq.com), which makes one of the tools compared here. The disclosure is in the footer of every page, and Dreamwork's name carries a short publisher note where we recommend it. The picker sends 9 of its 10 rules to other tools.
